Philanthropy

Founded in March 2016 to honor the memory of Sam Harel Price, a junior at Oberlin College, the mission of Sam & Devorah Foundation for Trans Youth is to support trans and non-binary youth by offering safe spaces and programs where they can connect, thrive and be empowered.

How You Can Help...

The Sam and Devorah Foundation Trans Mentor Project is a national e-mentoring program that pairs trans and nonbinary (TGNB) youth and young adults with TGNB adult mentors.


Sam and Devorah also hosts a 3-day retreat , led by trained and screened trans counselors, which provides trans and nonbinary youth ages 12 to 17 a unique opportunity to celebrate their identities in a safe and accepting community.
