Philanthropy
Founded in March 2016 to honor the memory of Sam Harel Price, a junior at Oberlin College, the mission of Sam & Devorah Foundation for Trans Youth is to support trans and non-binary youth by offering safe spaces and programs where they can connect, thrive and be empowered.
How We Help...
Milk Honey Soul believes in the right to be your self free of judgement, shame, and/or hate. Inclusivity is at the forefront of our core values. For this reason we support The Sam and Devorah Foundation for Trans Youth by donating 1% of our profits to their organization.
How You Can Help...
The Sam and Devorah Foundation Trans Mentor Project is a national e-mentoring program that pairs trans and nonbinary (TGNB) youth and young adults with TGNB adult mentors.
Sam and Devorah also hosts a 3-day retreat , led by trained and screened trans counselors, which provides trans and nonbinary youth ages 12 to 17 a unique opportunity to celebrate their identities in a safe and accepting community.
